Nestled in historic Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, Abacot Hall Bed & Breakfast was a charming retreat for our Christmas getaway. the Georgian style home exudes warmth and hospitality, while the grounds offer a tranquil escape into nature. the private guest terrace was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the well-maintained gardens. With a gas fireplace in the lounge, we savored a glass of wine, sharing stories with fellow guests - the epitome of coziness. the full breakfast menu, with house specialties, was a delightful start to our days of exploring. the en-suite bathroom in our individually decorated bedroom was immaculate, complete with high-quality amenities. As a landscape photographer, the stunning gardens and historic homes en route to the theatres and shops captivated my lens and heart. Abacot Hall's proximity to Queen Street made it effortless to experience the town's charm, making it a must-visit for any nature-loving traveler seeking serenity and beauty in the heart of Canada.
